What People Are Saying

Stefan

Stefan from Amsterdam, Netherlands loves to see the hotels and prices on a map

I love to see the available hotels on the map. I move and zoom the map a lot. It's so easy to filter out the hotels that are too far from my preferred location. I also like seeing the hotel prices at a glance on the map markers.

This hotel booking tool has saved me both a lot of time and money.

Anna

Anna from St. Petersburg, Russia thinks the budget tools and prices are great

Thanks for a cool new way of booking hotels! On our family trips, we are used to filter the hotels based on our budget. Now we can quickly see the hotels that offer the best deals and that are conveniently located close by the most interesting sights.

The prices on TripSay are always great.

Juan

Juan from Barcelona, Spain recommends this site to travelers who know what they want

I found a hotel quickly using the advanced filters. Booking the hotel was easy and straight-forward.

I require a wi-fi, non-smoking room and location near the airport or main railway station. Finally it's easy to find a hotel that suits me. I recommend this tool to other travelers as well.

What is Stockholm?

Stockholm is the capital and the largest city of Sweden. The city is made up of 14 islands connected by some 50 bridges on Lake Mälaren, which flows into the Baltic Sea and passes an archipelago with some 24,000 islands and islets. The city is a lively cosmopolitan place with both modern Scandinavian architecture including lots of brass and steel, along with fairytale towers, a captivating Old Town (Gamla Stan) and lots of green space. Almost one third of the city area consists of waterways. There are also lot of parks and green spaces, giving Stockholm perhaps the freshest air and widest lungs of any European capital. Stockholm is not the oldest town in Sweden, but after its establishment in the 1250s it rapidly became a national centre, with its strategic location between lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. Stockholm is the most populous city in Sweden with a population of 2 million people in the metropolitan area.

Lovely hotel downtown Stockholm just a few steps away from central railway station and Sergel's Torg. Hotel is comfortably decorated with velvet wall papers and cat themed paintings. Beds are comfortable and service friendly, overall a very excellent experience if you are looking for a good night in Stockholm.

hiisku

hiisku from Finland wrote about Lush store

I love Lush store! They sell fresh handmade cosmetics and the boutique is definitely wicked! I love the smell and the colours and the products. My favorite is sonic death monkey soap and I visit this store every time I'm in Stockholm. They have stores in Götgatan 26, Södermalm; Centralstation and Stureplan

I join to recommend to see the Wasa ship and the old town. In the old town, there are plenty og smalla boutiques and cosy coffeehouses. These are the best places in Stockholm, otherwise it is like any big city - high houses and busy traffic.

fcassel

fcassel from Sweden wrote about Bee's Thaifood

Actually, this place serves the best Thaifood in Stockholm. Thanks to the brilliant efficiency of the personnell, not least around lunchtime, they also boast the best prices. Try the Pad Thai or the Beef Panaeng.

per from Finland wrote about Vallentuna

Vallentuna-Täby, just north of Stockholm, has the largest population of runic stones in the world. Many are easily accessible from country roads - which still follow the trails used in Viking ages.

Another must-go shopping place in Stockholm. I can't leave there without buying atleast two glasses, one rug, one bag, two books.. I'm quite happy it's affordable also :D

A-ma-zing. A "must see" when you visit Stockholm (and are even the least interested in seeing a 17th century ship wreck that has been lifted from the sea and restored).

otto

There's some really beautiful architechture in Stockholm. They've used the old buildings fabulously in the vivid city centre. Liked it a lot :)
