You have to visit this small but lovely town in the end of May or beginning of June for the Bulgarian Rose Festival. Karlovo is situated in the famous Rose valley. The celebration itself held open air, at towns center. Villagers from the vicinity of the town perform traditional Bulgarian songs and dances.
