A fantastic desert hiking destination. Great views, dramatic Joshua trees and great oases for staying overnight. Just bring plenty of water as it get really, really hot.

A lovely hiking destination just outside of Port Angeles. Lovely routes with good campsites and varying terrain. Lots of bears, though, so you need to keep you food up on ropes.

A fantastic hiking destination. It is a lovely day's hike to the base of the mountain and then you have a tough but non-technical hike to the top with simply amazing views. Tons of snow late into the summer -- be careful not to burn your legs to crisp (I did it). There are bears around, so make some noise while hiking.
