I took a long horse trip through this canyon. It was a great trip, and it felt like I was transported in time to the time of cowboys. This trip was much better than the Grand Canyon mule ride. Just remember to stay hydrated.

The view from the ruins is spectacular. This is one place where a panoramic camera will definitely pay off. Definitely a sight to see!

Neat free ferry, which crosses the Corpus Christi Ship Channel. During a free ride on this ferry, you can get out of your car and look at the sights. Most of the time, you can spot dolphins in the ship channel.
