We're going to Lumut in December and considering to move end of February. I would like to know a bit more about the culture and the people in Lumut. The weather ect ect. Would really appreciate it if someone could give me a bit more inside info this would help us to make a decision.

As I remember this place it was rather small town with hardly any tourists. I think most of the people stop at Lumut to get on a ferry to Pulau Pangor.
Main thing to consider when travelling in Malaysia is the monsoon season. That specially if you are planning to have a beach holiday. Details of the monsoon season you will find rather easily from travel books.
