mars68loves Myakka State Park because it is a great place to see the wildlife of Florida. Lots of hiking trails, and also a boat tour is available.

mars68loves Madeira Beach because it is a great beach with plenty of places to stay. Usually less crowded that many other Florida beaches.

The Broken Egg is a great place to go for breakfast. Always has great service. Get there early though because it gets crowded real quick.
