On two trips I have tried diving here, with only one success due to heavy winds. The drift diving over old volcano flows was highlighted by a female white-tipped shark who was freshly mated by two males. There was another very rare highlight which our dive master / underwater biologist pointed out, but that detail left my brain long ago.
More to the original point, the seas were rough from the wind... and nary a sole on the boat avoided throwing up.
It's rare and beautiful underneath, but try to plan around Mother Nature who works her way up top.
