During my 2-day visit in Zhenzghou, the man in the mirror was the only European I saw. The city is somehow quite depressing and the Ferris wheel at the Citizens' park was the scariest ride ever...
Anyway, a busride to Shaolin Temple at Song Shan mountain is worth an effort. The old temple itself is quite of a tourist catch (impressive though), but the hiking route around the area is magnificent!

Under the Eberswalder Straße substation (Prenzlauer Berg), there is a brilliant Döner kiosk called Konnepke's Imbiß.
I believe Konnepke's history goes back to 1930's and they have their very own curry sauce. The best currywurst I've had in Berlin, and I've had a lot of them!
