Anyone been to Niseko, Japan for skiing? Any recommendations for beginners?

Niseko? .. I had to check out the place as I've never heard about it before. Sounds like a great destination: "Snow riders will love the deep, reliable powder, tree runs and relative ease to find untracked snow." ... they supposedly get a lot of new powder snow flowing in from Siberia with the northern winds...

yeah...supposed to be a great place for powder snow. Niseko is in Hokkaido, a Northern island of Japan. Very beautiful place.

I'm going there in a couple of weeks and have been looking into it. The big thing I guess is the amount snow (more than 3m now), but there should be something for everyone. Nothing La Grave type of stuff where you either ride off-piste or you stay at home.

Recommend Niseko in Hokkaido (Japan) for snow sports; fantastic powder snow there!
