this hotel is situated to world's biggest IKEA!!! if you're visiting stckholm with a car, i recommend this hotel, otherwise it may be quite far away from the city center... the hotel is not dirt-cheap, the prices are quite the same as in Finland. hotel rooms are comfortable and very quiet and the staff is very friendly!

It's cheap, it's beautiful, the people are nice... if you're travelling in northern italy, you might want to consider a trip to Slovenia! if you're into nature this country is made for you. and don't forget to check out the beautiful lipica horses...

I agree, people are nice and warm, and always ready to help you, the older people doesn't speak english as much as the young, but you can always try something else. In Ljubljana and all over Slovenia you can see influences of the Yugoslavia, but it's not a bad thing.

I love the Finnish archipelago, it's so beautiful. You don't always have to travel far away to experience beautiful wild nature... Come sailing or rent a cottage!

Venice is very beautiful city and worth visiting while it still exists... I wouldn't like to spend a week in here because there's many beautiful cities in northen Italy. You need time and money in Venice, and be prepared to queue everywhere because there's so much tourists. I didn't even dream about getting into any museums when I saw the crowds. The city is also a bit smelly, and first you can see a beautiful rose floating by, and the next second, a dead rat. And if you're afraid of pigeons, forget it.

I love this winter wonderland! It's like Narnia, and there's so many things you can do in here, besides skiing ofcourse. The best way to find cheap accommodation is to get all your friends together and rent a cottage!! They're wonderful!

You can see africa from here! it's amazing! gibraltar is amazing! the apes are a bit scary, in my opinion. but otherwise gibraltar is beautiful, historical and exciting!

hiisku from Finland wrote about Phi Phi Islands 4 years, 6 months ago

from phi phi you can find a great variety of student-budget hotels... don't make reservations beforehand, make sure you see and approve the room before paying. i prefer backpackers rock -hostel, it was nice and cheap, but for backpackers only!!!

Lovely place: beach, sand dunes and woods. the natural park area is maybe a little disappoitment, but the beaches and the atlantic ocean is great! on june there's very quiet, except on weekends. the spanish tourists start coming here in july...

hiisku from Finland wrote about Phi Phi Islands 4 years, 6 months ago

Dance with fire! if you travel to phi phi, one must-see are the fire shows!!! they have these schools for fire shows and the students often keep their own shows in local bars... so, crab a bucket of whiskey, lay down on the beach and enjoy the show!

Not-so-breathtaking! We went here for skiing but there wasn't as much snow as I expected and the conditions were quite bad. The staff was friendly though and we get some student discounts. And the bars were nice, i recommend hot drinks, quite similar to our "glögi".

hiisku from Finland wrote about Hotel Lux 4 years, 6 months ago

We went to this bus trip all the way to Banska Bystrica Slovakia and the accommodation was in hotel Lux. Sounds like a five star hotel but is actually three star hotel. Very comfortable though, but good for student-budget. And they have a night club in downstairs, much like Forte in Turku. ;)

hiisku from Finland wrote about Krabi 4 years, 6 months ago

We took a boat from Phuket to PhiPhi islands and then again a boat to Krabi. I loved to travel there and the views are amazing. I loved Phi Phi most, but there were lot's of tourists, mainly swedish. If you want a relaxing holiday in a beach dstination, I recommend this.

I love Lush store! They sell fresh handmade cosmetics and the boutique is definitely wicked! I love the smell and the colours and the products. My favorite is sonic death monkey soap and I visit this store every time I'm in Stockholm. They have stores in Götgatan 26, Södermalm; Centralstation and Stureplan

Amazing place! It's quite expensive to travel to this paradise from Finland, but if you are travelling in East-Africa you might consider buying a flight from Nairobi. It's much cheaper from there and an excellent way to experience a beach-getaway! One warning, if you don't like fish, don't go there. They offer it in almost any form in the restaurants. It still is an island...

Awesome hiking! Everyone should experience the wildlife like this atleast once in a life time! The walk can be a little rough, but definitely worth it!!!

hiisku

hiisku from Finland wrote about Hell's Gate National Park 4 years, 6 months ago

You can take an awesome walk down to the canyon! Take a pair of good shoes and a lot of time, you don't want to hurry in here, there's so much to see and feel! Main activities are Hiking, camping, rock climbing, biking, bird watching and wildlife viewing. And remember! Lara Croft as tomb raider 2 was filmed here! :D

The most fantastic spa I've ever been to! You can just float on the salted water in a dark room, the only lights are yellow, red and blue amblights. DJ plays music, which can be heard underwater! Here's also a bar and on fridays a glass of champagne is included on the entrance fee! Awesome!

Artim Hotel Charlottenburgh in Berlin. The hotel is very comfort 3 star hotel, but the price isn't very high. Prices include breakfast, and the hotel is very calm. The staff is also nice. The location isn't maybe the best possible, but you can always take an U-bahn in Berlin!
