This beatiful rain forest is -- according to some sources -- the oldest in the world. Be ready to spot the world's biggest flower, monkeys jumping above your head and signs of wild elephants and big cats. There is plenty of accomodation available near the park gates so no need to book in advance. Stay away from the crowded organised tours and shop for retired park rangers. The few westerns who live in the village should be able to help you out. And whatch out for leaches!
