One of the most interesting and amazing places I've ever seen: the Uros tribe live on floating islands that are hand made out of nothing but reeds! If you are in Peru, this is a must see.

L'Etoile is an excellent restaurant in downtown Madison. They use locally grown produce when possible. Be prepared to shell out a couple of $.

One of the things that makes Seattle unique is its history of the last century. Be sure to check out the "Underground Tour." Downtown Seattle used to be about 10 feet below where it is now! Long story.
