Check out the SOFA neighborhood. It was an industrial area that has largely been converted to lofts and condos. Lots of beautiful old buildings that retain the architectural details of the times. One cool thing i noticed is that many buildings have doors on the 2nd floor, that seem that they must dump people out for a 1-story fall. I think they said it was either because of snow, or because they moved the level of the street... forget which...

touristy, but fun. Beautiful area. I went when I was about 36 years old, and I think I was the youngest tourist in most spots. Apparently, Ireland is a popular tour for seniors.

Bloomsburg is a college town. I think the population swells by almost a third when school is in session. It is a cute Pennsylvania town with a Main Street with 3-4 story buildings with ornate facades. Russels used to be the best restaurant in town, but it recently changed hands and I haven't been since the new owner took over. Other nice restaurants include: Turkey Hill, and The Magee.
