Cabo Roig is a village in Spain, near Torrevieja, but Cabo Ruig belongs to larger area called Orihuela Costa. There are also many many other small villages like Punta Prima, La Zenia, Campamor ans Palya Flamenca. Cabo Roig is peaceful and quite beautiful. In the center there are several restaurants and shops. Nice beach. This is my favourite destination because I live nearby over this winter

This is a very interesting hotel in Murcia 10 km from the town Caravaca de la Cruz. An old mill has been renewed and set into a hotel, maintaining all the old. There are olso many activities and the landscape is magnificant. Uncredible! Here is the link to see yourself: www.molinodelrio.com

annaliisailola from Finland wrote about Elx 4 years, 5 months ago

Elx, in Spain - Orihuela Costa is also called Elche. It is a nice town in the inland from Santa Pola. There is the old city and historic buildings. Best of it is the Palmeral quite near the city, huge area crowded with palmtrees. There is also a big park in the town. I have never seen so much palmtrees! Elche is the main manufactorer of shoes in Spain. Worth of visiting, I would say.

annaliisailola

annaliisailola from Finland wrote about Santa Pola 4 years, 5 months ago

Santa Pola is popular for it's beach, which is long and well equipted. Otherwise it is as any beachvillage in Spain. Santa Pola belongs to Costa Blanca area. It is easy to fly there and distance to the airport (El ALtet - Alicante) is about 10 km. Exellent, if you like beach-life.

annaliisailola

annaliisailola from Finland wrote about Stockholm 4 years, 5 months ago

I join to recommend to see the Wasa ship and the old town. In the old town, there are plenty og smalla boutiques and cosy coffeehouses. These are the best places in Stockholm, otherwise it is like any big city - high houses and busy traffic.

annaliisailola from Finland wrote about Guardamar del Segura 4 years, 5 months ago

Guardamar del Segura is a small town in Spain for about 10 km from Torrevieja north the coast and it belongs to a larger area called Costa Blanca. There are old ruins at the top of the hill telling about it's ancient history. Guardamar is not a massturism targeet although there are some hotels and of course a beach also. There are two large parks there and they make the town feel fresh and "green". A very nice place to visit, I think.

annaliisailola from Finland wrote about Santa Pola Life Resort 4 years, 5 months ago

If you want safety, service and perhaps luxury also, you choose to buy or rent an apartment at Santa Pola Life Resort. It is quite near the airport El Altet (Alicante). Microclimate makes it a very healthy place to live.

annaliisailola from Finland wrote about Vierumäki 4 years, 5 months ago

Vierumäki is not very interesting village, but if you like sports, there is a huge sports center and several cottages and "hotelrooms" to rent. So it sis possible to spend there a weekend or perhaps also longer holidays.

Jaala centrum is a nice country village. From the main street you can see lake Pyhäjärvi, nice scenery. Many villages belong to Jaála and it has several lakes. And that means of course, that there are plenty of summehouses. Our summercottage is at Uimila-village, that' s why the high rate. Verla is of course worth visiting.

annaliisailola from Finland wrote about Porvoo 4 years, 5 months ago

Attractive small town. The old town is very interesting with small boutiques and coffeehouses, old wooden houses. The riverside Porvoonjoki is a pleasant place in summertime - like you were abroad! And of course the very old church is worth visiting. I really liked the town

Cabo Roig is a village in Spain, near Torrevieja, but Cabo Ruig belongs to larger area called Orihuela Costa. Orihuela Costa belongs to the microclimate area and is a very healthy place to live and stay. There are a lot of houses and apartments to rent or buy. The photo is taken from urbanisation Zodiaco, Calle Arco Iris - street. So Cabo Roig is also my favourite destination, because I have choosed to live here just quite near it at Costa Blanca over this winter.

annaliisailola from Finland wrote about Alhambra 4 years, 6 months ago

Alhambra is really worth of visiting! It is a palace and fortress complex of the Moorish rulers of Granada in southern Spain quite near to Granada city. Walls are like lace! Once the residence of the Muslim rulers of Granada and their court, the Alhambra is now one of Spain's major tourist attractions exhibiting the country's most famous Islamic architecture, together with Christian 16th century and later interventions in buildings and gardens that marked its image as it can be seen today.

Cos is a nice island in Greece. Good for biking. Cos town has a big tree, called Hippocrates's platan and his "hospital" is also on the island, worth of visiting. You can visit by boat also a small island nearby called Kalymnos. Pleasant place to spend holidays.

Corfu island is beautiful and it has more green areas than other greece islands. Corfu city is an intresting mixup with Greece and Italy. Corfu has an interesting history. Corfu city has a beach, but better beaches can be found in other parts of the island for example from Acharavi. You must drive around the island to see all the beautiful places like Kassiopi and Paleokastritsa. I have been there for two times, but could go once more.

annaliisailola from Finland wrote about Hurghada 4 years, 6 months ago

Hurghada, Egypt, is built for turists. Hotel areas and beaches are ready, but as I was there, for five years ago, the streets were not ready. A nice place for diving. In the hotel the service was excellent but in the bazar and shops service was disturbing because it was not possible to look at the products in peace. I got sick from the food for two weeks afterwards. Not a very nice memory. More information at page: www.wikitravel.org/en/Hurghada

annaliisailola from Finland wrote about Plátanos 4 years, 6 months ago

Platanias is a typical village on Crethe. You must climb to the top of the hill to the village to see the narrow streets and a nice scenery over Platanias. Dinner on the hill at moonlight is an experience. There is also a cemetary, which is interesting to explore.
