Chiapas, the Guatemalan part of Mexico has a colourful history. Chipas is home for the areas cult heroes, Zapatistas, a peasant group that lives in this area. They sell their local, beautiful handicrafts and typical Zapatista dolls in all the villages. Outdoor markets and little shops are great places to buy the products and support the Zapatistas. Travel around the villages and get to know the local culture.

The old historical village is full of shops that sell Finnish design and Finnish art. You can spend a day here enjoying the beautiful buildings, green nature and make some very nice shopping. It takes some time to drive here, but it is worth the trip. And you wont leave Fiskars hungry! Restaurants here offer delicious food. This place has all the Finnish design you can wish!

Split is not a shoppers paradise, so the most wicked boutiques in the are ice cream boutiques and bars. In general the ice cream is so cheap there its almost free. And the taste, you can not compare it to nothing else. So stroll around the historical town and pamper your self with some ice cream! :)
