Memorial Day, 25th of May, isn’t just a three-day weekend, but it is a day to think about all the heroes, who fought for the generations to come. What's your way to celebrate the day? • 1. San Francisco
  People can join Pampanito crew and submarine veterans in the Lost Boat ceremony aboard the USS Pampanito on 25th of May. This moving ceremony features sixty-five bell tolls for each boat and crew on eternal patrol.
• 2. New York
  New York City has held Fleet Week now over 20 years. This week it's from 20th to 25th of May. Fleet Week is about honouring the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. In Memorial Day a military aircraft fly over in honour of those who lost their lives in service to the United States.
• 3. Simpsonville
  From 22nd until 25th of May Heritage Park in Simpsonville is full of sporting events, concerts, market stalls, delicious food and hot air balloons. The entire family can enjoy the day together in Freedom Weekend Aloft and see the Memorial Day fireworks in the sky.
• 4. Chicago
  Every year about 10 000 spectators come to Daley Plaza in 23rd of May to honour veterans, active duty military personnel and those, who have given their lives serving their country. Chicago Memorial Day Parade is considered one of the biggest parades of its kind.
