What People Are Saying

Stefan

Stefan from Amsterdam, Netherlands loves to see the hotels and prices on a map

I love to see the available hotels on the map. I move and zoom the map a lot. It's so easy to filter out the hotels that are too far from my preferred location. I also like seeing the hotel prices at a glance on the map markers.

This hotel booking tool has saved me both a lot of time and money.

Anna

Anna from St. Petersburg, Russia thinks the budget tools and prices are great

Thanks for a cool new way of booking hotels! On our family trips, we are used to filter the hotels based on our budget. Now we can quickly see the hotels that offer the best deals and that are conveniently located close by the most interesting sights.

The prices on TripSay are always great.

Juan

I found a hotel quickly using the advanced filters. Booking the hotel was easy and straight-forward.

I require a wi-fi, non-smoking room and location near the airport or main railway station. Finally it's easy to find a hotel that suits me. I recommend this tool to other travelers as well.

psalmi from Finland wrote about Hotelli Yöpuu

Hotelli Yöpuu is the hotel in Jyväskylä. It has 12 unique rooms in different themes like British room, Safari room or Bridal suite. Service was unbelievably friendly, including room service and reception. Restaurant we didn't have time to check out as we were too busy in enjoying sauna premises (with jacuzzi, of course).

suviko

suviko from Finland wrote about Savutuvan apaja

An open air museum with historical buildings. Great spot especially for families. The restaurant serves traditional Finnish delicacies. You can reach the place by car or bus from Jyväskylä (12 kilometers), but in the summer time a cruise ship on lake Päijänne will also take you there.

A charming place at the lake with several very old wooden houses and saunas. Perfect party venue with catering services upon reservation. Unique atmosphere with stone and wood walls, candlelit dining hall, fireplaces and rustic decoration.

The campus area is beautiful, buildings mostly of red brick with a lot of surrounding nature. You may also find some old wooden houses, including the oldest preserved house of Jyväskylä.

suviko from Finland wrote about Banthai

Banthai serves Thai cuisine with really great price value. In my opinion it's the best ethnic restaurant in town. Check the pictures - food is nicely displayed, too.

Visit a hockey game in Jyväskylä. Currently the best Finnish hockey is played in Jyväskylä, the local team JYP is the reigning Finnish league champion.

The best view in town and the environment (Harju) is also worth the walk. The Vesilinna restaurant is quite good, but a bit pricey if you're a student.

Most of the roads are in abysmal condition around this area, so watch out if you're not driving a Jeep!
