Neuchatel is a nice little town organized between a lake and low mountains. The lake side is very pleasant and very green with easy access to the lake. Beside, the old city center is build at different level and after climbing a bit thought tiny picturesque streets, you can access the castle where you get the great panorama. I like the forest around Neuchatel that provides lots of nice paths for walking or biking.
