A day trip away from Sydney are the Blue Mountains. We arrived by train from Sydney to see this scenery that reminds me of the adventures of Indiana Jones. I think we made an excellent choice to climb down the stairs carved in rock behind the Three Sisters sandstone pillars and then walk in the eucalyptys forest by the waterfalls to Katoomba Scenic Railway which rises at 52 degrees back to the top.

The Three Sisters in Blue Mountains is a great day trip destination from Sydney! Take the early train from Sydney to Katoomba and buy a ticket to one of the two floor sightseeing buses.
