What People Are Saying

Stefan

Stefan from Amsterdam, Netherlands loves to see the hotels and prices on a map

I love to see the available hotels on the map. I move and zoom the map a lot. It's so easy to filter out the hotels that are too far from my preferred location. I also like seeing the hotel prices at a glance on the map markers.

This hotel booking tool has saved me both a lot of time and money.

Anna

Anna from St. Petersburg, Russia thinks the budget tools and prices are great

Thanks for a cool new way of booking hotels! On our family trips, we are used to filter the hotels based on our budget. Now we can quickly see the hotels that offer the best deals and that are conveniently located close by the most interesting sights.

The prices on TripSay are always great.

Juan

Juan from Barcelona, Spain recommends this site to travelers who know what they want

I found a hotel quickly using the advanced filters. Booking the hotel was easy and straight-forward.

I require a wi-fi, non-smoking room and location near the airport or main railway station. Finally it's easy to find a hotel that suits me. I recommend this tool to other travelers as well.

paavo from Indonesia wrote about Kerava

Kerava is a bit of a joke in Finland. "Keravan kundi" or "Keravan kolli" means literally "a guy from Kerava" but refers to a lower educational level individual, usually violent, drunken and with a loud mouth. Actually its a sleepy little residential town with very few reasons to visit for a tourist. Probably a much nicer town to live in what its reputation might suggest.

The most delicious shop in Finland. You can buy the famous Brunberg chocolate kisses here. There are plenty of other goods too. And the prices are ridiculous low :) This is the place where I go first every time when I'm in Porvoo. It's good to continue shopping, when tummy is full of chocolate :D

One of the biggest malls in Finland. In this modern shopping complex you can find whatever you want, if it is not high fashion or hand-made specialties. It also includes restaurants, banks, etc. Next to "Leppävaara" train station. The trains A, E, L, S, U, and Y from Helsinki stop here.

tilkkuliini from Finland wrote about Helsinki Olympic Stadium

They started to build the stadium in 1934 and it took 4 years to get it ready. In 1990-94 they renovated it and now days there are 40 000 seats in stead of 70 000 standing places. Someone has said that this is the most beautiful olympic stadium in the world. Well, maybe it is, if you compare to the new ugly things, but I would say I have seen more beautiful than this. Still, it's an interesting thing in Finland's history and the tower is nice.

sani

sani from Finland wrote about Kannunkulma

Kannunkulma (known as "Kannu") is the most popular nightclub-restaurant nearby Espoon Keskus. Its quite small, nice and cozy place with inexpensive prices. Karaoke @ Tuesdays & Sundays, striptease on Wednesdays. Every weekend young people from all over Espoo are coming to paaaartyyy! So be there ;) And for smokers: this one of the few nightclubs left that allows you to have your cigarette wherever you wish - instead of leaving your seats and drinks by going outside.

leo

leo from Finland wrote about Ringside Golf

Ringside is quite an easy course, you have plenty of room to slice on most of the holes with just a few outs. Most of the holes remind me of an airport landing strip. If you like to hit hard with a driver (and who wouldn't?), this is your course. The clubhouse is also good, it's situated on a hill with 9th and 18th hole ending there and you can see them well from the sauna balcony. Burgers are good. Not the most beautiful or intriguing course but it does the job.

tilkkuliini

tilkkuliini from Finland wrote about Design Deli

This is really a must-go shopping place in Porvoo. All the stuff is hand made Finnish design. Every time I go to Porvoo, I just have to visit here. Some of the products are a bit expensive, but everything is worth its' price. I allways try to save money and buy only the little things and Ooops! Again I spent 50 euros :D You just can't leave there with out buying something. The more I think of it, the more I want to go there again!

paavo

paavo from Indonesia wrote about Lammassaari

This is what makes Helsinki so cool: Lammassaari (Finnish for Lamb Island) is in the city but at the same time 1000 miles away. It's an island, nature preservation area and a popular bird watching spot. You'll need your hiking- or rubber - boots as the only way to get there is by dock boards. Essential thing to do in Helsinki - in my opinion. Helps you to appreciate our great city much more.

If you happen to be a geocacher, there is a cache near the Airport. It's called Helsinki International Airport HEL hotel. From the cachesite you can find a big box, where you can leave your travelbugs and geocoins or take some with you when you'r going abroad. If you are not a geocahers you are probably thinking what the h.... :D Then i suggest you to visit geocaching websites.
