Hossa Hiking Area

Hossa has various hiking paths and nature trails. The Hossa Hiking Area (90 km²), established in 1979, is the oldest official hiking area in Finland. There are about 90 km of marked trails in the area. Most of the trails are not demanding and lead through spectacular ridge and lake dotted terrain.

Hossa is wonderful wilderness area in northeastern Finland with nice old growth forests and lakes. There are very nice trails and campsites available. For nature lovers a place worth visiting!
