What is Yyteri

YYTERI BEACH is a sight in itself. You’ll also find Reposaari and Mäntyluoto close by with their many attractions.

Sea, rocks, harbour, the unique Kokemäenjoki river delta, the observation tower… The list is long and interesting!

Every july they are having a Beach Football tournament in Yyteri. Year 2008 there were over 7000 players. It's great fun! Even if you are only looking.

At the time of Pori Jazz, this town is packed with people. It's nice if it's sunny. Like a lot of Finnish towns, there's not much to see here in the winter.

If you happen to be in Pori especially in winter time, the prices are ridicilous low. One cabin for 4 person costs 50 euro per night. Not bad! The cabins are not luxurious, but ok for sleeping :) Prices are not bad in summer either.

When you get tired of Pori... continue 100 km up north and visit The Smallest Town in Finland - Kaskinen (Kaskö in Swedish)... A nice, charming and very small town by the sea, with only 1 500 inhabitants!
