The Waitakere Ranges are a chain of hills generally running approximately 25 km (15.5 mi) from north to south generally 25 km west of central Auckland, New Zealand. The maximum height is 474 m (1555 ft). Having an adrenaline rush? Come to Auckland. You can do anything you have ever dreamed of - no kidding, anything!

Just remember that these gobsmacking activities cost quite a bit so save some of your budget for this place.

Favourite: Jumping off the roof of Sky Tower. Absolutely brilliant.
