What is Visby

Visby is one of the most remarkable towns in Sweden and Scandinavia, situated on the west coast of Gotland Island. The population figure is about 23,000. It is known for the city wall, the Cathedral and the church ruins. Visby is on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1995.

Extreamly beautiful place, an old hansatown. Picturesqy small houses and best of all the ROSES. You must visit this place in summertime. Ancient history and interesting ruins.

The island Gotland has many sandy beaches and long coastlines. The sea is always close by. I visited Gotland when I was like 13 years old and I have great memories about the place. The nature is indescribable.
