About places near Tupper Lake

LOTS of hiking to do here. The Adirondacks is the largest park in the lower 48 (like, 6 million acres big...), and there's plenty of hiking to do. Check out the 46ers (people who have hiked the 46 High Peaks (all near or well over 4000 feet) of the 'dacks). We climbed Mt. Haystack, the third highest, and had a great time doing it. The views from the tops are spectacular, and the hiking ranges from the very easy to the very difficult throughout the Park.
