Small and cozy village at the shore. Nice sand beach, and quite a few local summer residents.

Small, but cozy, airport. Some construction-work (summer 08), makes it looks a bit "confused",. but once inside the international departure area, it's airy and nice.

Best way to visit it is by boat trips! In addition to sightseeing tours like the one that Baatservice offers (departure from Aker Brygge) it is also possible to take the local ferries from Vippetangen to the islands (app. 25.min.)
