kaisa loves Tallinn because Fast growing city - cool architecture, some nice shopping and good food! Try the Pepper Sack in the old city. Huge portions and reasonable prices. You can see a sword fight if you go around dinner time :)

A very nice chinese restaraunt (probably the only one in the center of Tallinn) - cheap and tasty.
There is a Garlic Restaurant just near the main square! Haven't been there, coz we didn't have enough time, but I'm sure this place is worth visiting))) they even have garlic ice-cream on the menu...=)

Great view from this monument of Soviet-style architecture. Easy to reach by bus. On the way there (or back) stop by at the Pirita monastery ruins next to the Olympic regatta stadium.

There is also a restaurant on top. The views are fantastic, the place - eh - interesting display of Soviet architecture. The place has interesting history related to 1991 Soviet coup attempt, with bullet holes still as evidence.

A lovely coffee bar. I especially liked the idea of having many different kinds of snacks and foods in addition to coffee. So many cafes have a very limited amount of choices what you can have with your cup of coffee. I liked the variety.

The Pirita monastery was founded in 1407 and destroyed by Russian army in 1575. Today the beautiful park with the convent ruins is administrated by the Bridgettine sisters. There is also a convent museum.
