Standing at the very tip (my tip...) of Denmark, where the North Sea ends and Skagerrak begins, watching the flow of water turn with the tide, is an experience you´ll never forget! Then a walk over to the old church, three-quarters buried by the wandering dunes, wathing the sun set over the sea. There is a special kind of light, softening all colours - small wonder this was an artists´ retreat a century ago!

The mainland Europe's northernmost tip consists of vast sand dunes bordered by the North Sea. The winding road to north goes through small fishing villages before the sand and pine trees become the only scenery. On a sunny day a great place to visit.
