What is San Antonio
San Antonio is a beautiful city on the South Texas Plains. There's a lot to do in this city: fine art museums, historical missions and plenty of amusement parks in addition to great dining and drinking. The culture and people are vibrant and interesting. About San Antonio

Along the River Walk (thank FDR and WPA!) Waxy O'Connor's is a perfectly OK place to get a pint. It's less tourista than Mad Dog English Pub -- though the waitresses there do wear super short kilts... If you're into that kind of thing.

If you're heading to SA, you can't go without seeing the River Walk. If you can't find anything to do there, don't ever travel again. Be sure to check out Howl at the Moon and Dick's Last Resort. Enjoy!

The River Walk is definitely a great place to go and grab a bite to eat. There are many restaurants with tables right near the river. Also, if you can stand the heat, there is a river tour boat that goes down the river. The view of the city, from the river, is amazing.

There is a museum here with relics from the battle of the Alamo. It is quite interesting.
