Most probably the best place for cross-country skiing in Finland. You will love the scenery, which varies from treeless mountains to narrow gorges.

I would recommend renting a log cabin in Saariselkä! It was nice to come back from ice age to the warmth of the fire place. Great place for skidooing and sledging :)
