A beautiful harbourtown just next to another pretty town called Portoroz. There is in Piran nice and cosy marketplace, where you can find jewelery, souvenir and stuff.

Did you now that Piran (small town) has more than 14 churches?

Forget Bibione, Lignano and even Venice! Grado is a small city that has it all. Very convenient town with waterways, boats, numerous large beaches (which have way less sunworshippers than those in Bibione). Or, if you are driving by to Trieste or Venice, stop in Grado for a gelato. Just be prepared that you want to stay here.

This was the first time we have stayed at the Hotel Meuble Moreri, although we have been to Grado many times. On arrival we were very warmly greeted, and this characterised our stay here. The rooms were clean and of good size, and the hotel is located in a quiet area not far from the main 'action'. We will certainly be going back to this hotel on the next visit.
