Perfect walking trail for an autumn morning.
You can get here following Ciutadella – Mahon main road until “Ets Alocs” sign, here’s where you take the turn-off to find the bypath to this old castle. You should scour the road for a farmstead called “Santa Cecilia”, leave the car in the driveway of the farm, beacuse here’s where the ancient Roman footpath starts.
The hour-long and rising hike to the top takes you to one of Menorca’s highest hills, so it’s well worth the effort until the wrecked moorish fort, where you can leave your imagination soar and enjoy the stunning views.

There are 2 footpaths that take you to “the Cathedral” or, also called, Cave of Pigeons, one of the biggest inland caverns on the island. It used to serve Talayotic community as a place of worship. One trail begins in Es Migjorn, following the “Cova des Coloms” sign and leaving your car in a free parking area, where you should pack your goods and start to walk amongst pine and mastic trees. After a 20 minutes walk, you’ll find a writing on a wall indicating the entrance to the cave.
The other trail can be found from Binigaus beach, in Santo Tomás, following the Camí de Cavalls wooden posts until you should deviate to the inland path towards the cave.

Spectacular place in every way. Not much of a club music fan OR a party animal myself so that's why I visited it at the daytime. Still, would go there at night also if I had a second chance. Tickets are not that expensive (and also include a drink).
If you go at night, please be careful...

The route towards Punta Nati, it’s perfect for cylcing because it’s mostly flat and also, allows you to discover the island's northeast lighthouse, known as Farola Nova A vast barren zone surrounded by huge stone sheep-pens, explains why Menorca is called an island of stones and wind A vast barren zone surrounded by huge stone sheep-pens, explains why Menorca is called an island of stones and wind. Here, you will be able to feel the force of the strong Tramontana wind, while you enjoy the uncluttered sunset or, even better, get a coat –it doesn’t matter if its summer- and follow the road to Punta Nati at night, along with red wine and your favorite food, to appreciate a clear sky full of stars.

Prehistoric site, nearby Son Saura beach.
Perfect to get lost in this village and inside your imagination, wondering how romans or carthiginians, lived their routine days among those walls.
Walking around trenchs and watchtowers, take you to visualize their alleged battles, trying to protect this impressive and preserved bastion.
