The beach called Las Canteras in Las Palmas is very beautiful and especially the concert hall "Alfredo Krause" with fine architechture and fine acoustics is worth visiting.

Anybody in London should pay a visit to the Emirates Stadium! Last monday I had one of the best days out ever... a massive exhibition of the Canary Islands with drinks, massages and lots of fun activities.... Next summer I am definitely going to check the Islands for real... you can check what's happening in London on www.stadiumsofhappiness.com

Been there once and that was enough. Actually could have left back home after couple of hours. Nothing original left to see, some beautiful views but mostly a place for mass tourists.

Sad but true, I can only agree that.

Situation on Canary Islands is surely sad when it comes to losing original culture and habits. But I've heard there are still some islands left that are not build for tourism. That might be the place to find somethin original and beautiful from Canary Islands.

True, but for a family vacation when kids want just to swim and parents want natural light and warmth during winter, this is quite easy place and flight here is only six hours from Finland. Nothing surprising and plenty of tourists, but for example the mountain area in the center of the island was quite exiting, and not very crowded.
