What is Karikari Peninsula
Karikari Peninsula is a rocky land mass, originally an island, which is joined to the Aupouri Peninsula in Northland, New Zealand by a low sandy strip about 13 km long. Rangaunu Bay is to the west and Doubtless Bay is to the southeast. The Moturoa Islands are to the northwest. Rangaunu Harbour and Tokerau Beach are on the west and east sides of the strip.
