Hiroshima, Japan
Hiroshima, hot or not?
What is Hiroshima
Hiroshima (広島) is an industrial city of wide boulevards, criss-crossing rivers and a dense city center. It is located along the coast of the Seto Inland Sea in the western Chugoku region of Japan. Although many only know it for the horrific split second on August 6, 1945, when it became the site of the world's first atomic bomb attack, it is now a modern, cosmopolitan city with a lot of great food and nightlife.

Try to come here in the late afternoon. The island is packed with tourist groups in daytime, but after 4pm shops are closing and the tourists hurry back to their buses on the mainland - this is the right time to enjoy the tranquility of this place and enjoy the illuminated torii.

You are exactly right.. The right time is when the sun starts to go down and the place gets its calming atmosphere. The sights are awesome..

The deers (or whatever are they..) in the island might seem really cute but can turn to something not so nice when they smell food. So keep your lunch or snacks tightly in your hands and watch out for the sneeky deers!
