What is Galway

Galway, called Gailimh in Irish Gaelic, with a population of over 70,000, is Ireland's third largest city and is a major hub for visits to West Ireland. It has long since been known as "The City of the Tribes" and this title could not be more appropriate these days, given the multicultural vibrancy of present-day Galway.

A little willage near sights of Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher and beautiful landscapes of Burren. Packed with tourists in summertime. Somehow this does not matter too much in this place. One of the places in which they play traditional Irish music in pubs.

Nice basic hostel in Galway city. Big kitchen, nice staff, quite cheap prices and the rooms are in a really good condition! Also if you want to take a buss tour to see the region, they collect you from the hostel. Easy!
