Primarily interested in going to Timbuktu, spending a day on the Niger river, seeking the mosques at Djenne, Mopti and Ougadougo, mosey over to Dogon country, have a look around Mole NP in Ghana and a couple of days on the S coast of Ghana... How long does everyone think this trip would take at a medium-fast tourist pace...Some people seem to think I could spend several weeks in just one of these countries alone...Reading the Australian governement travel website about these countries made me have second thoughts about getting out of bed but keen to explore somewhere new and challenging."
