hey! i'm looking for a cheap and interesting way to travel from adelaide to alice springs and forward to cairns... i've already read about 6-day-safaris from adelaide to alice springs but they all seem pretty expensive (around 500 australian dollars), what other possibilites exist expect of flying (you don't see anything of the outback then).
