That looks so beautiful! Is it more of an hiking place, shopping place or what would you suggest to do there?

anders wikstrm

It's mainly for recreation; hiking, skiing or just relaxing. The valley has several tracks for Nordic Walking (sponsored by Excel).

isse
isseloves val gardena because skiing the sella ronda loop includes delicious lunches. In early season 2007 the snow was a bit scarce, but at least the italian slope-side restaurants seemed better value than for example in the france.
