Reserve ample time to get to Malpensa Airport from west! It was just crazy: the normal highway route suggested by map and GPS was closed (chiuso as they say in Italy) because of roadworks. And there were no signs marking an alternative route! We spent an hour navigating the last 20 km through the small cities and narrow streets to the airport from A5 highway.
