If you want to splurge just once while in Brazil, do it here! A small but very charming boutique hotel Casas Brancas is worth every euro (and it is not too expensive though). You get the greatest strawberry batidas (smoothies with cachaca) and great sea views with very cosy rooms. Breakfast table is equally good as is the restaurants menu in the evenings. Casas Brancas is also close enough of the centre of the Buzios night life. Check it out at http://www.casasbrancas.com.br/new/eng/index.htm
