Living and breathing evolution. You cant argue with it when you see it first hand. Be sure to go snorkeling or diving at Devil's Crown.

The best place ever to swim & dive with sea turtles, sea lions and sharks. One could spend multiple weeks here...

When making a reservation, make sure you get decent boat with good crew & guide. And don't forget seasickness remedies.

Reserve at least two extra days to Pueryo Ayora to make some scuba diving trips.

Don't go in September when the sea is roughest and coldest. Pay the extra and do more nights on a boat to see outlying islands. Spend at least 2 nights checking out Puerto Ayora and the island. Do plenty of research when you book your boat. When you find some boats you like try to book direct with the boat - the agents, wherever in the world they are, are just creaming money that could be going to the crew. If you can speak on the phone and book a plane ticket you do not need an agent to book your Galapagos boat. And if you sail on the Encantada say hi to Juanito!
